Harlan Harrison concentrates his practice at Lombardi, Walsh, Wakeman, Harrison, Amodeo & Davenport, P.C., on estate and trust planning and administration, elder law, real estate and the purchase and sale of closely held businesses. He has been with the firm since 1978.
Formerly associated with the law firm of Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, Mr. Harrison specializes in all aspects of estate planning, will and trust drafting, and administration of trusts and estates; elder law planning and drafting of elder law documents; purchase and sale of real estate; and all aspects of the purchase and sale of closely held businesses.
BACKGROUND
A native of Schenectady, N.Y., Mr. Harrison received his Juris Doctor from Harvard University in 1962 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University in 1959. He was admitted to the Bars of New York State and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York, in 1962. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Sections on Estates and Trusts, and Elder Law, and the bar associations of the City of New York and Schenectady County.
Mr. Harrison is the author of “Federalism and Double Jeopardy” (17 Miami Law Review 306, 1963), and a past president of the Jewish Community Center of Schenectady, Inc.
